Music-sharing protocol Audius recently became one of the first streaming platforms to become partners with TikTok, letting users to directly share tracks to the infamous app. On Monday, Audius announced that it had partnered with TikTok to develop a new feature called TikTok sounds. In the rolling stone interview with Audius co-founder and Chief product officer Forrest Browning he says the process will let users to export songs created with the protocol to TikTok with just one single click all to streamline the process. Even though Audius says it wants leverage blockchain technology to reward content creators as well as increase transparency on payouts to artists and the plan connected with TikTok seems to be related more to music instead of pushing messages about cryptocurrency or decentralized finance.
