Tesla has been making rounds in social media regarding whether it has purchased more Bitcoin, which can also be ruled out as a misinterpretation. Previously, in February 2021, Elon Musk’s announcement of purchasing BTC also drove the crypto market! Late Wednesday, X users started discussing if Tesla had added 1000 BTC worth $68M based on the Arkham Intelligence data analytics platform. Tesla now appears to hold 11500 BTC compared to 9600 BTC in its Jan 2024 report, which has led to speculations about its increase in holdings. Another user suggested that the excess amount can also be due to its product sales. But no official comment has been made.
