Reports are that Samsung, Qualcomm, and Google could collectively make their first launch next year. The search engine giant was reportedly developing an augmented reality (AR) headset under the codename ‘Project Iris.’ However, news media house, The Verge, reported this June that the initiative was plagued by layoffs and shifting strategies during the development.
