Injective Brings Native EVM Support, Unlocking Ethereum dApps on Its Blockchain
Injective has announced the launch of its native Ethereum Virtual Machine (EVM) support on its Layer 1 blockchain, aiming to enhance interoperability and attract more decentralized applications (dApps).
Unlike rollups or external interoperability solutions, Injective’s EVM implementation will be fully embedded within its core infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration without reliance on third-party bridges. To achieve this, the network will employ the latest version of Geth, maintaining full compatibility with Ethereum’s existing tools and standards.
2/ Many blockchains support EVM, but Injective is doing things differently.
Rather than treating EVM as a modular add-on, Injective has embedded it natively into the core architecture.
What does that mean for developers and the on-chain finance ecosystem?
