Ignacio Corral, former Senior Associate at the FCA, has joined GCEX (GCEX Group) as the digital prime brokerage’s dedicated UK Compliance Officer. His appointment reflects the growth of GCEX’s UK-based operations which are regulated by the FCA.
Ignacio Corral, a qualified lawyer, joins GCEX from Rede Partners LLP where he was Legal & Compliance Manager. Prior to that, he was Senior Compliance Manager at easyMoney. He spent over five years as Senior Associate at the FCA where he worked across different departments including Crypto Assets Authorisation, Investment Banking Supervision and International.
Ignacio joins the firm at a time of expansion, in terms of both business and team growth. Another new addition to the team is chartered accountant, Helen Man who has joined GCEX as Financial Controller. With previous experience from Stifel, Zodia Custody and TP ICAP, Helen will be managing the day-to-day finances across GCEX Group’s multiple entities including the UK
