HashKey Chain is set to make its debut in the final quarter of 2024, according to a recent announcement on X (formerly Twitter) by the Hong Kong-based digital asset services provider, HashKey Group. The post, captioned “Coming Soon,” was accompanied by an image revealing that the Ethereum Layer 2 mainnet launch timeline.
Hashkey Chain Launch Timeline
According to the post on X by Hashkey Chain, the mainnet is set to go live in Q4. Hence, the launch can be witnessed from October through December this year. At the 2024 Hong Kong Web3 Festival held in April, HashKey Group revealed its plans to launch an Ethereum Layer 2 network named HashKey Chain.
Moreover, the network will utilize zero-knowledge proof technology to enhance the group’s Web3 ecosystem by offering cost-effective, efficient, and developer-friendly on-chain services. Hashkey Chain is poised to launch its testnet within six months, with the mainnet scheduled to follow in less than a year.
