Ford is recalling over 850,000 vehicles. The company says a fuel pump problem could “result in an engine stall while driving.” In the first half of 2025, Ford has issued more recalls than any automaker has in a full-year period.
Ford has issued a massive recall of some of its best-selling vehicles, including the F-150, Bronco and Explorer. The automaker is recalling 850,318 vehicles worldwide, with 844,098 of those in the U.S., according to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).
The low-pressure fuel pump in the impacted vehicles could fail, “which can result in an engine stall while driving,” according to the notice from the NHTSA. Several makes and models released between 2021 and 2023 are impacted.
