Dogecoin creator Billy Markus recently took to Twitter to respond to some queries.
Markus stated that he doesn’t represent DOGE.
He also denied any professional involvement with the meme coin.
Dogecoin has come a long way since its inception. The meme coin featuring a Shiba Inu dog as its logo has grown in prominence over the years. DOGE really took off in popularity when Elon Musk tweeted that Dogecoin is one of his favorite cryptocurrencies.
Billy Markus, aka Shibetoshi Nakamoto, is the co-founder of Dogecoin. However, every now and then he has conveyed that he is not associated with the meme coin in any way. In one of his recent tweets, Markus shared an FAQ on some of the questions that are associated with DOGE and him.
