A new technology has been developed to create personalized interactive attributes for Disney. Disney has been granted a patent for creating personalized interactive attractions for theme park visitors. This technology will enable headphone-free augmented reality (AR) attractions at Disney theme parks. The technology will work by tracking visitors with their mobile phones and generating and designing special 3D effects on physical spaces, walls and nearby objects in the park. The entertainment giant was granted a patent for a “Real-World-Virtual-World Simulator” on December 28, 2021.
