The network announced plans to increase its gas target to 10 Mgas/second following the success of a previous milestone set last week.
Base Set to Raise Gas Target to Double Digits
Coinbase will mark a new milestone by raising its gas target. This is significant as it raises its gas target by double digits. Jesse Pollak, shared the good tidings via X (formerly Twitter), asserting that Base would be taking the note up a notch by increasing the gas target to 10 million gas units per second (MGas/s). The 10MGas/second represents a noble 10% of the original target of 1Ggas/second.
