Centralized Exchanges experienced a 4-year of decline in trading volumes. This can be attributed to increasing regulatory scrutiny from U.S. authorities as per a recent report by CCData(a crypto analytic firm). The combined volume of spot and derivatives trading in May dropped by 15.7%, which indicates a decline in crypto trading for two consecutive months. According to CCData, Binance was the firm largely impacted among all major firms that experienced declining trading volumes.
