Professor Yongjin Kim of Cutting Edge Research Institute has successfully developed a lead (Pb)-based composite material exhibiting superconductive properties, marking a significant step forward in the search for room-temperature superconductors. The sample demonstrated a notable drop in electrical resistance at near-room-temperature conditions, challenging conventional assumptions that superconductivity can only occur under extreme cryogenic environments.
In this study, Professor Kim meticulously controlled various external parameters—including temperature, voltage, and magnetic field—to produce conduction behaviors that defy explanation under existing theoretical frameworks.
