The attack targeted the Balancer front-end, with the hacker using the opportunity to steal funds from a liquidity pool. Balancer has requested its users not to interact with its UI until the issue has been resolved and has pledged to conduct a post-mortem analysis of the incident. The stolen funds are reportedly stored at the address starting with 0x6457. The attack once again highlights the security risks associated with the DeFi space.
