Buenos Aires police confirmed they were body pieces from Algaba, a 41-year-old Bitcoin influencer and entrepreneur.
According to numerous media outlets, a crypto millionaire received a threat message a week before his body was found. A group of children found a suitcase on the bank of a river which contained different body parts of the millionaire.
Earlier this week, Fernando Perez Algaba received a threatening voice note in which the caller said that “I’m going to kill you, I’m going to do something worse to you,” he added, “I’m going to gouge out your eyes and cut off your hands so that you can’t have any more money in your life.”
He added, “I swear to my children that I have no problem going to jail.” As per an Argentinian outlet Telam, the caller is identified as Iglesias, his surname.
