Afroman Confirmed As A Bitcoin 2026 Speaker

Afroman has been officially confirmed as a speaker at Bitcoin 2026. Born Joseph Foreman, the Grammy-nominated rapper best known for his 2001 hit “Because I Got High” arrives in Las Vegas this April not just as an artist, but as someone who spent three years in court defending his right to say what happened to him.
In August 2022, law enforcement officers from the Adams County, Ohio Sheriff’s Office raided his home on suspicion of drug trafficking and kidnapping. Nothing illegal was found, and no charges were filed. Afroman did what artists do and he made music about it. Using his own home surveillance footage, he released a series of videos documenting the raid, the most viral of which, “Lemon Pound Cake,” was named after a moment in the footage in which an officer appeared to do a double take at a cake sitting on his kitchen island. Seven of the officers sued him in 2023 for defamation and invasion
