Prosecutors in Montenegro have charged Terra’s co-founder Do Kwon and CFO Han Chang-joon on charges of document forgery. Do Kwon and Han Chang-joon were detained by Montenegrin police on March 23 for using counterfeit travel credentials to catch a trip to Dubai.
Indictments for the crime of document fabrication were brought against Do Kwon and Han Chang-joon by the Basic State Prosecutor’s Office. Local news outlet Vijesti reported on April 20 that prosecutors had also suggested extending both defendants’ jail periods.
Do Kwon and Han Chang-joon’s Montenegrin attorney had already appealed the court’s decision to prolong their imprisonment to 30 days. Despite the significance of the case, the court rejected the appeal.
