On January 12, 2023, Twitter launched the price chart of the cryptocurrency Shiba Inu (SHIB) on the platform. Twitter has launched price charts for other crypto assets including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Dogecoin among others.
Twitter added the crypto price-chart feature last December to allow users to track crypto prices on the platform itself.
To track the price of a crypto, users need to search the ticker symbol of a specific crypto currency with a dollar sign placed before the symbol. For instance, searching for “$SHIB” will display the price chart for Shiba Inu.

Along with the price chart of Shiba Inu, a clickable link will be visible which will redirect users to Robinhood’s website.
As of March 2022 Robinhood has 22.8 million funded accounts and 15.9 million monthly active. The additional link along the price chart might be a promotional tactic.
