XRP Ledger Developer Alerted Over New Ripple Scam

Ripple CTO alerted users about fake XRP staking.
Ripple CEO’s identity used to promote fake giveaways.
Crypto community believes the Ripple case will be settled soon.
There have been several cyber attacks on the Ripple community, which is currently fighting with the US financial regulator Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC). The SEC sued Ripple Labs Inc toward the end of 2020 for marketing XRP tokens on its platform. The SEC charged that XRP was an unregistered securities.
Recently XRP Ledger developer Wietse Wind alerted the platform users by tweeting that there are no giveaways or airdrops by Ripple. He tweeted on December 29th that scammers were targeting potential investors to steal their funds by sending phishing website links to steal personal data.
