Michael Saylor’s firm, Strategy (formerly known as MicroStrategy), is doubling down on its Bitcoin-first approach with an $84 billion capital strategy aimed at significantly increasing its BTC holdings. The company has announced plans to raise $42 billion through equity and another $42 billion through fixed income instruments to fuel the purchases.
As of now, Strategy holds 553,555 BTC, acquired for $37.90 billion at an average price of $68,459. Just last week, the firm acquired 15,355 BTC for $1.42 billion, paying approximately $92,737 per Bitcoin, demonstrating its unwavering confidence in the asset despite its volatility.
