Polkadot-based gaming protocol Ajuna Network has introduced its asynchronous backing engine.
This upgrade is set to boost the protocol’s speed time and user experience.
Ajuna Network, a decentralized gaming platform built on Polkadot’s parachain, recently implemented asynchronous backing, slashing its block time in half. This development translates to improved User experience (UX) for gamers on the platform.
Ajuna Network Comes To Speed
Previously, Ajuna’s block time sat at 12 seconds. However, with asynchronous backing, that number has been cut down to 6 seconds. This reduction in block time means faster finality for transactions. To provide context, gamers can now enjoy quicker confirmations and smoother gameplay.
Ajuna Network & Asynchronous Backing
1/ One small commit for Ajuna & Bajun, and a huge leap for our Gaming Community!
Async backing is here, cutting blocktime from 12s to 6s!
So please welcome Ajuna & Bajun, now running at 6s
